Scout had a rough time finding a forever home, his first family wasn't able to really take care of him. A nice large family decided to take Scout and Bear in and add them to their lives. Unfortunately tragedy struck for Scout and Bear once again when a freak tornado came through Port Orchard destroying a small suburban community and hitting the street and home that Scout and Bear were home in while their family was out.
Luckily there were no injuries or fatalities. However the home was no longer livable. The family had to split up to find temporary housing and Scout and Bear were needing foster. The rescue took them in to provide them emergency foster, however due to the length of time and needs of Scout and Bear for some rehab still they ended up being surrendered to the rescue.
Scout and Bear went on their recovery journey and Bear was able to find a home, but Scout wanted a home as an only child to be spoiled and have someone all to himself. We searched high and low for his perfect family that would be home to love him all the time and take him everywhere and meet everything on his wish list.
Scout is an awesome active yet loving 4-5 year old Yorkie man. He is always excited to see his people come home and is quick to give you a kiss and jump up for cuddle time. He loves being around his humans, going for walks and getting excited over the little things in life. Scout can be playful but is happy to get belly rubs on the couch as well.
He does gets very worked up over cats and small animals so was so excited when he got a family with a yard to chase squirrels out of and protect all to himself as an only child. He was more than excited to have a mom and a dad who were retired and would get to give him alllll the attention. It was quite the drive to meet this wonderful family but it was more than worth it. He'd finally found his perfect home, and was adopted forever more!
